We learned about value- the lightness or darkness of a color, or gray. We learned how shading with different values can make a shape look three dimensional. We drew shelves and shaded them with dark, medium and light values. Then the kids looked at pictures of shells and drew them with sharpie markers. Then they glued the shells into the shelf pictures. Great job everyone!
